The participant is responsible for the safety of his/her vehicle. Neither the tech inspector, the event chairman and committee, nor OVR-PCA will be held liable for the safety of this vehicle. Have a qualified person check over your car and make certain everything on this list will pass inspection. Sign and date the form and bring it with you to the event.

The Tech chairman has the right to disqualify your car if it does not pass the final safety check at the track. ALL drivers must be 18 years of age or older.

___	___	PEDALS - good condition, proper return for both brake and throttle
___	___	COMPARTMENTS - all loose items removed (trunks, glove box, interior). Remove loose floor mats, radar detectors, telephone, etc.
___	___	STEERING - no excessive play in steering wheel
___	___	MIRROR - at least one, securely mounted
___	___	ROLL BAR -mandatory for open cars (Cabriolet, etc.). ALL open top cars must pass “broomstick test”.
___	___	BRAKE FLUID -topped up, changed within last year. Date changed: __________
___	___	BATTERY -securely held in place, in good condition
___	___	LEAKS -no leakage of any fluid; gas, oil, brake fluid, coolant
___	___	BELTS - proper tension and condition
___	___	MOUNTS- engine and transmission mounts secure and in good condition
___	___	GLASS - no cracks; windshield wipers and blades adequate, front and rear windows unobstructed
___	___	GAS CAP - tightened properly
___	___	WHEEL BEARINGS - properly adjusted
___	___	BRAKE PADS - sufficient material present and in good condition
___	___	TIRES -in good condition, no dry rot, proper tread depth and inflation for track conditions
___	___	LUG NUTS -torqued to 94 ft. lbs or to manufacturer's specs
___	___	WHEEL COVERS - removed
___	___	BRAKE LIGHTS - functioning properly
___	___	HELMETS -Snell 2000 or newer (no motorcycle helmets)
My car has been pre-checked for compliance with each item on this list, and to my knowledge, should pass this technical inspection at the event.
