LATE BREAKING NEWS

THE MID-OHIO SPORTS CAR COURSE

   

March 18, 2008

Mid-Ohio will allow equipment drop-off, Thursday, April 17th between 5 pm and 8 pm for the lower paddock and the grass paddocks only. The facility closes at 8 pm. 

The middle and upper paddock can not be used on Friday April 18th because of Mid-Ohio school activities that are taking place. 

On Saturday and Sunday the middle paddock can be used but the upper paddock will be utilized by Mid-Ohio driving schools. The middle paddock will need to be cleared by 6 pm on Sunday night.

Mid-Ohio will charge the following fees for track damage. 

Oil Dry - $10/bag (Based on actual usage)
Damaged Guard Rail Replacement - $700 per section
Damaged Concrete Barrier Replacement - $1000 per section
Damaged Tire Wall Bundle Replacement - $200 per bundle
Fire - $200 (Cost to refill extinguishers)

If Ohio Valley Region is billed for track damage and in the opinion of the Event Chair, you were responsible, you will be billed. We regret having to pass along damage fees but other tracks like Barber and VIR have similar fees.
